Up for auction is a very nice 1922 Johnson outboard.  Model # A Serial # 1910. This was the first model Johnson ever offered.They started with serial # 506 so this is a very early model made by Johnson!  Its a nice little 2 hp. twin motor. Look closely at the photos, lots of original nickel!! This nice little antique is almost perfect.  It is complete, and ready for a new home. This outboard will due you proud,as it has seen very little use. .Almost 90 years old! Due to its age it is sold not running as is. I will take offers on this antique. It is for sale in my shop, and may cause the auction to end. Im doing a lot of private motors which I prefer to do. Vintage Antique 1927 Lockwood 72t Outboard Boat Motor

1927 Lockwood Model 72T.  Strong compression, vintage Champion Plugs, hairline cracks on lower unit.  Doug Penn outboard has this replacement or you can just weld it up, grind it down and polish or paint it up just fine.   The propnut and Spring are not in the picture but coming in the mail and will be included.  The tank is in awesome condition, with no dents.  There is a missing round transom pad but that is pretty easy to find too.  Also included is a xerox copy of an original instruction manual.  as-is, so please ask questions.   I will package extremely well, and provide insurance. Thanks for reading and good luck!fyi, one very cool feature is that the prop has a brass cone clutch instead of a sheer pin.

I posted it as a Johnson.WE FOUND THIS MOTOR IN THE BACK SEAT OF CAR CAR WE BOUGHT FOR SCRAP.  THEY MUST HAVE THROWN IT IN THE CAR TO BRING THE OVERALL WEIGHT UP.  HONESTLY WE DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE MOTOR, BUT I CONVINCED THE BOSS TO SEE IF I COULD FIND A NEW HOME FOR IT.  IT IS WHAT YOU SEE.  I CAN PACK AND SHIP IT ANYWHERE IN THE LOWER 48 VIA UPS.  GIVE ME A ZIP AND I'LL GIVE YOU THE SHIPPING CHARGES.
