Mercury Quicksilver Racing D Lower Unit.  Gearcase is in great shape with a full skeg, great tail thread's, has bearings in place.  No welds or cracks/repairs that I can see.  Gears are used in good shape as well as the prop shaft. Comes with new bearings, water pump cartridge, and looks like a seal kit.  Driveshaft is not included.  Very hard to find unit!

1950 Mercury KG4-H Racing Outboard.  Has great compression, open exhaust, H tower, 1:1 lower unit with factory black paint, 2 blade bronze propeller.  Engine comes with gas tank/recoil and new fuel line. I have not used the motor it has been in my collection for many years.  Very hard to find motors. There are no cracks, welds, or repairs on the tower or lower unit. Serial # 447674Power Head and exhaust will be removed for packaging.

This is a nice and clean running Evinrude Lightwin outboard that has fantastic spark and compression  ,,I used this motor as my troller for many years , but has been sitting for about 2 years ,, The tank has a dent were the gas cap is but does'nt leak , this is how I bought it  other wise all is very nice with the hard to find 20" long shaft   ,,,, nice and clean collector motor

This auction is for 1996 Evinrude 150HP Outboard with Power Tilt & Trim. It is for a 25 inch transom and includes the propeller but no controls. If you need controls, let me know and I will see what I have available. If you already have a Johnson or Evinrude on your boat now, your existing controls will probably work for you. Let me know what you have and I will try to help you.

It was a two owner trade-in and is in excellent condition. It has been totally reconditioned from top to bottom with all genuine Evinrude parts. The cylinder heads were removed for cylinder inspection. It has perfect compression. To the best of our knowledge, it needs absolutely nothing. It is 100% ready for the upcoming season. The following is a list of the major items that were done:

New Cylinder Head Gaskets (O-Rings)
New Thermostats, Relief Springs and Seats
Rebuilt Carburetors and VST
New Fuel Rail O-Rings
New Spark Plugs
New Power Pack
New Water Pump
New Zinc Anodes
New Lower Unit Lubricant
New Cover Decals
New Zinc Chromate Primer and Evinrude Factory White Paint

With the new paint and decals, it looks almost brand new. Professional installation and removal of your old motor is available for an additional charge. I have a large indoor facility to install it for you now no matter what the weather. Don't wait until Spring when there are no good used motors available.

For reliability, it is currently setup to run 50:1 pre-mix. If you would like to use the VRO system, I will give you an oil tank. I strongly suggest that you have your local Evinrude dealer install the latest revision VRO pump and completely test the oiling system for you to certify that it is working properly.

This is a standard carbureted engine and is simple to maintain. There is no complicated fuel injection and no software or computer knowledge is required.

I prefer to have you pickup the motor at my facility in Branford, CT 06405. I am willing to ship it and have included a freight calculator for you. There is an additional $275 charge shown for me to make a shipping box, package it and load it onto a truck.

If you think that my price is a little higher that you would expect, think again about the hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of work that has been done to this motor and what a brand new one would cost you. The reality is that the majority of used motors need most of what has just been done to this one.
