On both sides it is marked Johnson Sea-Horse 5. It is on a make shift stand in our barn. There are a couple of dents in the tank and the starter handle seems to be stuck.

This is a 1922 Elto Ruddertwin 3- HP Outboard Boat Motor.  I have had this motor in my collection for many years but am downsizing my collection.  It is in great shape for its age and has excellent compression.  This is the rare solid rudder type ruddertwin unlike the hollow rudder models which came along in 1924.  It has a low serial number and no letter designation.   It features battery ignition.  Motor is ready to be run and used on that vintage boat of yours or put in your outboard collection.  I will offer free shipping with "buy it now" otherwise it is flat fee of $100.00 to lower 48 US states.
